ABOUT THE GFWC ORGANIZATION
GFWC INTERNATIONAL GFWC Pennsylvania
Founded in 1890, the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) – one of the world’s largest nonpartisan, nondenominational women’s volunteer service organizations- is well into its third century of volunteer service in communities throughout the United States and the world. A President, three Vice Presidents, Secretary and Treasurer were elected to serve together with eight directors, forming the first Executive Board of the State Federation. GFWC Saxonburg District Woman's Club meets the second Monday of September and the first Monday of each month, October through May, at 7:00 p.m. at the Saxonburg Memorial United Presbyterian Church, Main Street, Saxonburg unless otherwise stated. The Board of Directors will meet the third Monday of each month at 2:00 p.m. at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Main Street, Saxonburg, unless otherwise notified.
| Currently our dues are $30. We send $15 to GFWC and $13 to GFWC Pennsylvania and retain the rest for our club. Applications are taken at any time and can be given to any member or can be sent to our mail box,, PO Box 402, Saxonburg, PA 16056.
